Executor Selection

Selecting executors and trustees causes angst for almost everyone.
  • Spouses, partners, adult children, and other family members generally are at the top of the list.
What happens if such a person is not in your life, or none of them work for you?

Answer: Many attributes contribute to the success of administration.

The key single most important attribute that stands out for most is “trustworthiness.”

Why? For technical work, the executor or trustee can always hire paid professionals as a lawyer or accountant for assistance.

You can't decide? You decision will always be better than a judge. That the only alternative.

Make your choice for "fiduciaries." Fiduciaries include trustee, executor, agent to financial and healthcare powers of attorney and anyone, by law, responsible for another.
