Veterans Need LTCI?

Our military receives earned retirement and healthcare benefits. Does a veteran need Long Term Care Insurance?

Depending upon retirement income, probably yes.  Residential  long term care for veterans is means tested. The retirement income in many cases will make the veteran ineligible for Veterans Admin paying the long term care at a Veterans home like Vinson Hall in metro DC area.

The core point is that if you are a military retiree, you are probably ineligible for long term care because of income limits.
